What recourse, if any, do I have if a nutty and VERY vendictive neighbor ruins a home sale by going out to meet the lookers and telling them all kinds of untrue things? This neighbor has been on and on for two years and we have had enough. We put the home up for sale and now she is catching people in street and discouraging lookers from coming up to the house! What can we do?

Hire an attorney to send a demand C/D letter or just file a TRO to stop the tall tales. Call the police and file harassment charges against the neighbor. If you have the property listed with a real estate agent, have the agent do the same.

What exactly is this person saying to potential buyers?
