have no idea where to post this question: is it legal for someone to post a graphic photograph on a large sign on their property where it can be viewed easily by passing motorists?
specifically the image is of a bloody dismembered fetal corpse, about 4' x5' in size on a sign about 15 feet from the sidewalk, located on a major downtown avenue, and about half a block from a daycare center.
it appears to be a private residence that is being used for a (perhaps) non-profit anti-abortion organization.

Yes. This is called a First Amendment right.

Are there any local zoning ordinances against sign size?

Although, I suppose you could make a smaller offensive picture. ;)
