your posting fails to say alot .First off if you want to have 2 residential structures on the same lot and are in a city or town with city water and sewer fair odds are that you have a zoning dept that may have rules against it . If your property is rural and you have enough acreage then you need to find out if your township or county has zoning regs that will allow you to have more than one residential structure on the land .FAIR odds are that if they do you will have to have a septic sytem/sewer system for the 2nd home that meets code . but again your city/county zoning desk can tell you for sure . contact them to learn the truth , this is a local matter .
