In an Option agreement, the wording, The option may be exercised at any time during option period by written notice of exercise of option delivered by a specified date. Here, the word delivered, does that mean a postmark date or the date person signs certified receipt of mail at the Post Office. For example, notice of exercise of option is mailed 1 day prior to deadline, but not received until 1 day after deadline. Can you help? Thanks you can email at [email protected]
