We rented a four bedroom house from our landlord 2 years ago because my parents lived
next door now that my parents sold their home
the landlord gave us a 30 day notice and said that he was going to move back in here now that my parents are gone. We have had no luck with getting another house due to the
fact that they won't rent to us because we filed a bankruptcy a few years ago, we have turned in over 20 applications with no luck.
Now our landlord has given us a offer that is just to absurd. He says that if we are not out of the house by Ausgust 31, 2000 we
can move into his old house for the same amount of rent we pay now, that house is a 2 bedroom, we have a 4 bedroom now. We explained that we have 3 children which their
ages are 11(boy) 11(girl) and a 4 (boy), the
2 oldest are stepbrother and stepsister and
we will not put all three children in the same room together, his respond was to put one of the kids out in the garage. If we do
not leave his house by August 31, 2000 he will then remove us personal. Please help us on this problem.

My response:

You really have no bargaining position.

Either take him up on the offer, or you'll be out on the street. Which decision is better can only be decided by you. The house is his, and your problems aren't his problems.
