Power of Attorney

in California. I don't get it -- Free-loading daughter is still in friend's house, ignored 3-day notice to quit, has responded to unlawful detainer/eviction suit with lies. there is a warrant for her arrest for elderly fraud/abuse and we now have a court date to try to enforce the unlawful detainer. there was never a verbal or written tenancy contract. how much power does a power of attorney have? with full power of attorney, could I just enter the home and kick the whole lot of them out? could I bring security officers or sheriff dept? would I need to win court case to do this? how did the homeowner lose control of his property because he allowed daughter to stay in the home? homeowner is still paying mortgage/insurance/taxes. Daughter was forced to put utilities in her name because we cancelled them out of his name.
