What is the name of your state? Missouri

I live in a privite subdivsion in a rual area. A county vote was paaed two years ago for a water distric and passed. Now the distric is trying to get the funding for a sewer system.
When the water distric was voted in, it was under our impression that the sewers were going to looked into and they will try to keep the monthly sewer bill around $40 a month.
Now they are going with the sewers and the bill is going to be in the area of $90 a month.
We asked for another vote in our subdivion, they said they will not give us one. We do not have the right to vote on this. Is this true? Do we have to accept the $90 a month sewer bill ?
Thanks
Daryl

Are there by-laws for your subdivision? At the meeting that approved the water district, were there meeting minutes approved, printed up and passed out?

Sometimes the by-laws will provide for a special meeting called for by and individual, subject to a vote and a 2/3rds approval (or something).
