Professional HOA President

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WA.

We, like most neighborhoods, have a HOA. In my opinion the HOA is not very responsive. The President and Board are fellow neighbors with various "skills" to deal with problems.

I have thought that instead of having volunteers we could have, at least, the "President" of the HOA be someone who is outside the neighborhood and is paid for their services. In my mind someone paid would be more responsive to concerns.

Anyone ever heard of this or can give examples?

**A: generally, your CC&R's dictate that the Board President and all Board members be actual owners in the HOA. Most HOA hire professional association property management companies.
