Property co ownership

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania

My girl friend and I bought a house together. The relationship has ended. She claims she can force me to sell the house if I don’t buy her out. Is this true?

Yes, it's true. It's called "partition". She sues for partition and the court will order the house sold, proceeds to be split between the owners. Much cheaper to just cooperate and put the home on the market.
