What is the name of your state? alabama

i own 7 acres of land which i reside at.a neighbor has decided to clear off, plant shrubs, and erect a storage shed on about a 20 foot wide, hundred foot long strip of my property, which abuts his property.if i allow my neighbor this courtesy, am i forfeiting my rights to this property after a given time?
