massachusetts - if the original owner of a property sells knowing there is something built into the house but does not take it. then the house is sold 2 more times. can the original owner come to the third buyer and demand that item after 30 years? specifically if it is money?

No. The only way that a previous owner has this right is if the previous owner was the Federal government. Thus the current owner may have a unexpected windfall.
Sorry, I know you wanted a more positve answer.
