property line dispute

What is the name of your state? Michigan. I have recently purchased a piece of land that butts up to my brothers piece of land. My purchase was handled by my fathers trustee, a local bank trust department and was completed in April 2002. My brother also bought his land in Oct 1999 from the same trust/bank. I recently had my property surveyed to find out the correct property line between my brothers land and mine and discovered his building (40x90 feet) is entirely on my property. I have approached him about buying the land that his building sits on along with options on moving his building, now he is sueing me and the bank along with the trust to have his property line moved and thus my property line adjusted so that his building will be on his property. Do I have a leg to stand on if this goes to court? By the way, our relationship is not very good.

You should have gotten a survey before you closed on the land.
