| State of Michigan. Grandparents bought property in 1923, was surveyed then. New neighbors claim line is off by several feet and they will move fence to regain their property. They claim new survey but can show no stakes etc as proof. City assessor says no recent surveys done in this area. Can they move fence to claimed new line position? Thank you. |

| I thought in some states there are laws that if a fence has been up for 10 years plus that the fence creates the new property line? Is this a state difference? Do the surverors even consicer fence lines? |
