We are a new housing community and are being told by the HOA that the builder up here is the only HOS board member. The property management company is not providing any services as our HOA and yet will not allow us to be locally represented, 90% of the new homeowners up here are upset, how can we remove the property management company and have our own HOA?

Much depends on how many lots/units are actually sold. Normally a builder/developer remains in control until a certain number of units/lots are sold. Review your paperwork/covenants to see at what point the builder must turn the HOA over to the homeowners.
