What is the name of your state? ohio



Twenty years ago we built a deck on the side of our house. The then owner of the lot beside us gave us permission for our lot to stick out over his lot. About four feet wide and two feet deep on his lot. The now owner says that our deck is preventing him from selling this lot. do we have to cut our deck off or do we have any rights.

**A: you may have a prescriptive easement. Tell the neighbor to have an encroachment agreement completed.
