I live in Georgia and recently received a bill from a mortgage company in California claiming they have paid my property taxes for 1997, 1998, and the first installment of 1999. The company is not my mortgage company and I have no dealing with them what so ever. Can this be a valid debt? Thanks for any info. Rodger

I have paid my property taxes for years through my mortgage company. My mortgage payments have increase over the years probably due to a increase in my escrow account to cover increasing property taxes. Thanks very much for your information and time. Rodger

If you havae confirmed that your own mortgagec ompany paid the taxes then that othere one is pulling a scam.
