What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? .Florida. My friend bought a home in 2004 and in 2006 she had a boyfriend that talked her into putting his name on the deed. the relationship turned into an abusive one and she has a permanent injuction on him. Since he never paid for the property nor signed anything, is there any way to get him off the deed? She lives in Florida? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

When will people learn that "putting people on a deed" isn't membership in some club. It is GIVING AWAY (typically half) of the property to the other person.
No you can't make him give it back unless you can argue some undue coercion.
