I reside in Missouri and I am interested in a comment made by HomeGuru on 2/21/01 to a posting by Cheyenne. In it, HomeGuru stated the utility company could get an easement without too much trouble. I am currently bickering with a utility company that wishes to purchase an easement on my land and of course, I do not want to sell one. If you could briefly expand on what the utility company could ultimately do to obtain the easement, I would appreciate it.
