Im doing research and was wondering if you guys could help me understand something.

someone got a forclosure on their house and it went thru court. now the same bank is filing the following: Forcible entry and detainer - Cmpl in Unlawful Detainer what does this mean?

They're trying to get the former owners evicted from the property.

Yup that's it. The occupants are known as debtor in possession.
