Question

quit claim deed

virginia**************.. my ex husband and i own property in which my current husband and i now reside. my current husband is trying to re-finance in his name and a quit claim deed transferring title to my new husband is required. my question is, where the quit claim deed wants you to specify the sum of money exchanged for the release of title from my ex husband, since no money is changing hands, what should we put as the sum? any help would be greatly appreciated.

You mean your ex is going to just give away whatever equity he has in the property??? Have your ex see an attorney.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
