What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois

My mother owns a Condo and due to a serious illness would to Quit Claim to add my name to her deed as joint tenancy. What exactly do we need to do?

**A: have an attorney review the title and mortgage docs then draft a quit claim deed.

And get a lawyer who knows elder law and can indicate whether putting you on the title is in both your best interest. There are a number of issues that adding you to ownership can mess up (especially if you are not over 55 as well).
