Real Estate Agent has done nothing--AR


What is the name of your state? Arkansas

We have a commercial building for sale. We signed an exclusive right to sell agreement on March 23, 2007. As of today, our real estate agent has not posted a sign, advertised in the newspaper, or listed our property on his website.

Someone jumped through hoops to find out who owned the building and wants to look at it. Do I have any recourse of getting out of this agreement since the real estate agent has done nothing to sell my building? I don't see why I should pay him 6% when he hasn't done a thing.

And what has your agent said when you contacted him/her and asked what they have done... and if not much, why not??

Do you have a chance?? Of course you do. Heck, a meteor might fall on the entire realty office and destroy copies of all their contracts.
Do you have a REAL chance?? No likely. Read the contract to see what conditions might be included to terminate... but far more likely there is no 'escape clause'.

The reason you would have to pay is called a 'contract'.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
