What is the name of your state? NC
The buyer/broker of our LLC's "Option" to purchase a $3.5 million property has defaulted on paying the fee agreed to per our contract. If we sue for "specific performance" can we attach it to the property causing a lis pendens to appear on the title? If so will the lis pendens be a cloud on the title thus preventing any closings of individual lots until the suit is settled? Do we need an attorney to file the suit?

**A: hire an attorney as it appears that you have no idea what to do.
