What is the name of your state? Washington State. Father leaves residence in will to both adult sons. Residence appraised at $205,000.00. One of the sons wishes to have the title strictly in his brother's name and relinquish any interest in residence. I need to know if QCD is sufficient, what the tax implications would be, and if a deed is necessary. Thank you.

**A: yes but the executor must deed the property to both sons first, then one brother can QCD his interest to the other.

and if a deed is necessary. Thank you.

**A: you already raised the QCD question.
