What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? In Florida -- in partition action --if one joint owner has had exclusive use and enjoyment of the property for years including locking the other joint owner out of the house for a substantial period of time , can party petitionong for partition ask for more than half the rental value of the house -- any case law to support this?

**A: yes but I would question the fact that the locked out owner could have broken in since he/she also owned the property and basically did not mitgate the situation to terminate the exclusive use by the other joint owner.
