Realestate Transfer

What is the name of your state?I currently live in Florida but the Question is about realestate in Texas. A female friend of mine is devorcing her husand and is wanting to get her name off the property they might lose because of non-payment. Can she file a quit claim and leave her soon to be ex with the property, if so how can this be done from Florida since the property is in Texas.
