Receiving funds after settlementWhat is the name of your state? NY. we did a refinance on a principal residence and expected funding the day after the right of rescission period expired. instead, the bank send the funds two weeks later. we suffered greatly in the interim. we called 5 times a day and never got a straight answer. even though i received the funds eventually, do i have a breech of contract or other kind of case? what's the formula for punitive damages? is there a way to search for similar cases online -- for a non-lawyer? thanks!!! |
