Thanks for the response. The note (two page Multistate fixed rate note form) states; This note shall be recorded and become a lien on property legally described as (exact legal) Hitchcock County Nebraska.
Paragraph # 10 (uniform secured note language) was stricken)
This note is recorded in first priorty position. It was the intent of all parties to the note that it would become a mortgage when recorded.
