My wife was divorced in 1997. Her decree awarded the house we now share (in California) to her "as her sole and separate property." Her ex remains on title to this day, and getting a quit claim signed will be next to impossible. How do we get him off title? We went to the county recorder with divorce decree in hand, but were told we'd need another court order. Don't know what forms to submit to get before a judge. Need to know what to do. Thanks in advance.
