If its central air tell them 3 or 4 days maybe...califronia is in a heat wave and a Power emergency and trying to get a repairman is impossible.
A window unit?....tell them to buy one and you will reimburse them,
Both of you have to be flexible....
YES they can stay at a hotel....but they have to pay for it not you!.....think common sense if you dont get there for a week then it takes a week for them to fix it, while its 95 degrees out....then a hotel room is something you should pay for....to keep the peace...but for a day or two or three no way!

So I ask you by state law how much reasonable time do I have? And they also claim that there is a state law that would allow them to stay at a hotel at my expense. Is there any truth to this?

|
