In Florida,we bought a house through FHA. Shortly after, discovered the roof was leaking in garage.Contacted company who held warranty on roof-they supposedly fixed it,but they didn't. Now they are out of business, we have to replace the whole roof on our house(leaking in 3 rooms and garage). So who is responsible? FHA had prior knowledge of a problem roof and there were 2 inspections,at least. [email protected]

What was the purchase date? What were the 2 inspections completed? Did you get an independent home inspection? Did you receive a copy of the real estate appraisal report and was there any notation about the condition of the roof? Who was the warranty company?
