restrictive covenants & FencingWhat is the name of your state? Washington We live in a corner lot of a subdivision that the covenant rules state we cannot fence our back yard. However, everyone else that has the same lot has violated this rule and fenced. Additionally I got permission from the president of the homeowners association at my feuding neighbors request. He gave us the okay verbally and does not deny this. We have started fencing and our neighbor called the association and we just got a new president and he is trying to start this negotiation over. We are fencing anyway because we already got permission. What can our neighbor do if anything?? |

The association can make you tear down your fence. ![]()

If not, you're up a creek without a fence board as a paddle. ************ We have started fencing and our neighbor called the association and we just got a new president and he is trying to start this negotiation over.
