| State: Northern Calif., outside city limits. Live on an unpaved road. Residents pay annual fee to gravel it. Neighbor has installed a large speed bump. I drive compact car. Position of speed bump is towards end of road, where I live; not majority of residents. Believe deliberate placement there not to bother other neightbors since prior disagreement about zoning laws - he has commercial backhoe business at residence. Is he allowed to alter the road? If so, under what conditions? How can I get him to remove speed bump or at least make it smaller and keep it that way. thank you. |

| Hey, it's a traffic calming measure. Drive slower or get yourself a jacked up 4x4 and fly over the bumps. |

Right of Way Easement AlterationYour response is unhelpful. I do not speed. I have to come to a complete stop before attempting to go over. The bump is just over 6 inches high, and I cannot afford a 4x4. |

| You have not stated who owns the road. If it is a private road, the matter is civil and outside of public jurisdiction. If it is a public road, contact the county government. |
