What is the name of your state? California
I was just informed by our association that due to incorrectwoodbeinginstalled dry rotsetting in and that every homeowner will be assesed $15,000 personally not attached to the property and I was moving soon and will have to pay this note. The contractor was levied a fine due to shody workmanship some yearsback at that time a waver was signed to not litigate again. Do I have any recourse. I guess I need to be clear, can the association levy money against the homeowner, instead of the property.
