i am considering buying a texas sheriff's tax deed at an auction.i was wondering if during the redemtion period i can do what i want with the property.specificly i want to sell the timber that is on the land.do i have the right in texas?

Yes, but you may have to fork over the profits if the former owner exercizes the right of redemption. Consult an attorney in Texas.
