What is the name of your state? NH

I live in the state of NH and in the deed there is a right of way,
the person who owns the property infomed me that it is not
a right of way because it has not been used or maintained for 20 years. I thought a right of way was forever. Can a right of way
be invalid because it hasnt been used??

**A: there are 2 sides to this issue. A ROW could be deeded abandoned but since it remains on title, there needs to be adjudication by the Court for its removal from title.
There maybe litigation so maintain it and use it.
