We were married before we moved in. She has taken an appartment with her daughter in the next town, moved out. My son and I still live in the house, but were told we have to move out when the house sells. Thats ok, But, i'm told i have to still pay while living there. I can't save money to move to an apartment and still pay for the house. She says I will get some money from the sale of the house, But I have my doughts. Being it's in her name. Do I have any rights? I payed my share and kept up the maintaince inside and out. Improving the property along the way. Help...

**A: hire an attorney to negotiate on your behalf.
But do not think that you can get free rent.

Thank You. It wasn't my intention to get free rent. I've allways paid my way. Hire an attorney! Gee why didn't i think of that. Sorry if it sounds a bit (wise guy) but I work two jobs as it is....Summer time i work 36hrs a week landscaping....but it's not summer so funds are limited. What I was looking for was a bargaining chip to keep me in the game. Some free advice. I pay child support for two other children. Thats why i work two jobs most of the year. Not complaining!!!! it's just a fact. I want whats fair for my wife and I. Nothing more. She has MS. she doesn't allways think rationally. I'm affraid she could be swayed ( from a family member) to be **************unfair......I've made a commitment for the rest of my life with her. Don't want us to be damaged by all this.

Your post sounded like you were trying to get free rent.
