we bought a piece of property in Pa. in 1993 that was orignally railroad property. We had it surveyed and a deed search. Now the school district has bought the property next to us and they are trying to claim our property and two others, claiming they don't have to pay any thing.Because it was railroad easement, and now they own the land adjoining it.The railroad acquired the land by condemnation in 1871.The school district has filed a quiet title action against us in court. Is it possible for them to just take our property and say we didn't even have a right to buy it.The court issued us a deed in 1993,also we have paid property and school taxes on the same property.

YO! You've been sued in court to quiet title to property you paid money for! Why are you dinking around in this board? Go hire a real estate attorney to defend your interests NOW. You can't handle this on your own.
