What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I purchased my home Oct 5, 2007. The Seller's disclosure stated that the roof was approx. 2 years old. Since Hurricane Ike came through I have had one insurance adjuster and two roofers tell me that the roof is at least 15 years old. Is there any recourse I can take? HELP! The insurance company only wants to give me $5000 for my roof and I do ahve a deductible!

Thanks

You would have to PROVE that the seller knew, or should have known, that the roof was NOT "APPROXIMATELY" 2 years old.
Your problems are PROOF... and the word approximately. Also, the disclosure 'age' is really not a critical issue. The critical facts are whether there have been any problems with the roof or structure (areas 3 and 4 on the form).
How long did the seller own the property?
