What type and brand name of siding do you have? Vinyl, metal, fiber-cement, hardboard, wood etc? Contact the siding manufacturer directly if you have a waranty claim so that another contractor can be sent out to inspect/fix the problem. If due to poor installation, file a complaint with the State Contractors License Board or Consumer Protection Office. If the contractor was licensed, there may be a way to get help through a Contractors Recovery Fund. Also check to see if the contractor had liability insurance that would cover construction defects and warranty claims. |
