Slumlords

What is the name of your state? Michigan

I work in Detroit and would love to live there but there are so many abandoned buildings I wouldn't feel safe. It's also ugly and not fair to the people who live around these unsightly places. Is there anything that can be done by Detroit's citizens to make landlords/property owners accountable for their property?
