    Cool

WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS IN SPRAYING INSECTICIDES ON PLANTS ON MY PROPERTY AND AN ADJACENT NEIGHBOR'S RIGHTS IN OBJECTING TO THE TEMPORARY ODOR COMING FROM THE SPRAYING?
I SPRAY MY PLANTS 2 TIMES A MONTH DURING THE SUMMER. I LIVE IN ILLINOIS.

Check with your local State Dept. of Health and the Federal Dept.of Agriculture and EPA as to the type of chemicals you are using and the regulations. If toxic, the neighbor may have a valid complaint as not only the odor is a problem but the spray may contain hazardous and poisonous chemicals. If the spray is insecticide as opposed to fertilizer, the neighbor has a right to be concerned.
