What is the name of your state? pa........ we have lived at our current address for 25+ yrs....at the end of a dead end street whose property we have maintained for that entire time. when we moved in the property was an overgrown field w/lots of trash from the builders left-overs and throw-aways which became our view...... outside the front of our home. we cut grass, scrub trees, burned and got rid of trash, eventually planted pine trees, shrubs, etc. 25 years later someone buys this property and is going to develop it....ten feet from our front door to the left of us where the dead end has been all these years.....which means the trees, shrubs, etc will all be cut down and a house will now be in their place. the property has changed hands from the borough, at least one bank, 1 developer, to the current private owner who has plans to build 35 homes starting to the left of our front door. we were told that the land couldn't be developed because it would require a new pumping station for sewage as the current one couldn't hold more than it already did....it doesn't look as though a pumping station is being built, but these houses are still going up. My question is if the houses do go up can we claim squatters rights so we don't loose what we've maintained all these years?
