SSI and forclosures

What is the name of your state? utah
Can the bank forclose when u are waiting to start receiving your disability checks?
Sounds like a simple of course they can answer but a friend of mine lost her house and was told that since she was awaiting her disability to start, that they should not have forclosed.....

The bank can foreclose when you don't make your payments. Why is not of a concern.
