SUBJECT: Lower Elect Rates For Low Income Or Medical Needs

There are a number of the park residents that are trying to servive on very low income, but the worse are the residents that are on low income and are ill. There are residents that are under doctors orders to use the need of oxygen, but they can not affored the use of the oxygen maker. This is because the park owner will not use the lower rates provided by the Electric Company, for these cases, so the ill residents go with out the oxygen and put their health in grave danager.
Is there something that can be done about this to help the provelling residents? Is there a law that the MHP OWNER is braking? What are the steps in the helping of these park residents? Thank You for your concern.

The city elect company says that there are LOWER RATES for those above. They will provide this servise to the residents if, The park owner will signe the forms that are needed for this. The park owner refuses to sign, for he belives that he will not make a profet off the residents that meet the needs. As far as running a line from the power pole, this is not to be done either in a MHP, when you are under a lease.

My response:

. . . and when you spoke to the Power Company officials about this urgency, they said what?

Did you suggest, or was it suggested, that the Power Company could bring a "direct line" down from the pole to the meters of the individual park owner's homes to bypass the MPH owner?
