What is the name of your state? Texas
bought home in 1981 was told it had about 1.5 acres so when it sold recently
the real estate agents marketed it as so. the buyers are developers and
bought other properties next to mine also. the deal is closed and monies wired to banks, done deal or so thought. now 2weeks after there seems to be a discrepancy in past surveys and the new ones. since the developers have agents to check deeds and zoning and past surveys should the sellers be held responsible for the problem, especially since none of the sellers are educated in such matters. should we be forced to settle and return a % of
the money.
