take cosigner off house

I have cosigned for a home for my brother over a year ago. I want to get my name off of the house so I can get my own home. My brother will not make any phone calls and does not want to refinance in his name only. He is the one making all of the payments and believe he can be refinanced. He just won't do it.
I have filed a quit claim deed. This took my name off of the property, but not off of the loan. How can I go around my brother and take my name off of the house? Please help!!

Your second mistake was doing the quit claim deed.
You need to get an attorney and sue.
