I live in Vancouver, Wa. and have a two acre piece of undeveloped(no buildings)property in North Carolina. My uncle has agreed to buy it for cash. I understand the procedure when buying a house and property with a mortage involved. Is selling this property as complicated? What forms and procedures are needed? Thanks for any inputs and suggestions.

Since you're saving the 6% real estate agent commission, spend some money for a good real estate attorney in NC. If uncle wants an attorney, he can hire his own. You can do things bare-bones: deed & state mandated disclosure form, or belt-and-suspenders (contract, deed, disclosure, inspections, soil tests, etc).

This is not legal advice and you are not my client. Double check everything with your own attorney and your state's laws.
