What is the name of your state? Maryland

If part of a tree that resides in my neighbors yard falls into my yard. Do I have right to request that my neighbor remove it, and what law if any would that fall under.

Sorry, but the tree that overhangs your yard is yours... and the subsequent part that falls on your property. And you are responsible for removing it. (I would hope that your neighbor should help since it is HIS tree!, but he has no obligation).

The neighbor is also not responsible for any damage caused by the fall... unless you can show that he/she was aware of a hazard and did nothing.
