I sold a commercial building and property. After signing contract and before closing, a storm blew down a large tree situated in the yard, 20 feet from the building, I paid 1500.00 to have it removed and the hole filled in.
3 months after closing the buyer insisted I have the root ball dug up and removed because he wants to pave over the yard area for his buisness.
He claims he did not know I left the root ball in the ground and claims I was trying to hide something. Even though his real estate agent was there every day during the removal.
Would it not be the agents responsibility to inform him.
Does he have any right to this claim?
